Undertook a study, “Knowledge Map of Information Science,” to explore the foundations of information science. Used a panel discussion-based methodology called Critical Delphi. The panel for the study was comprised of leading scholars who represent nearly all the major subfields and important as- pects of the field (see Appendix A). The indirect discussions were anonymous and were conducted in three successive rounds of structured questionnaires. The first questionnaire contained 24 detailed and open-ended questions covering 16 pages. The second questionnaire contained 18 questions in 16 pages.
